Незвичним виявився фініш у чемпіонаті Чернівців з футболу 2014 р. для команди «Апекс-банк» – після заключного матчу гравці вирішили відмовитися від традиційного «фінального бенкету», натомість передати відповідні «цільові кошти» на допомогу учасникам АТО.

У своєму заключному матчі «Апекс» зійшовся з юною та амбітною командою «ЧТЕІ-Форвард», яка на той час йшла на четвертому місці – позиції, на яку ще могли претендувати «банкіри» у разі перемоги. Тобто головним ігровим мотиватором були так звані «дерев’яні медалі». І «Апекс» з цим локальним завданням впорався, одержавши необхідну перемогу – 2:1.

Була і цікава «не футбольна» деталь, пов’язана з цим матчем. Річ у тім, що гравці «Апексу» вирішили відмовитися від традиційного «підсумкового фуршету», а відповідні кошти передати волонтерам, які допомагають учасникам АТО. Самі футболісти це не афішували. Але від журналістів складно щось приховати:) У підсумку конверт зі скромною допомогою для учасників АТО граючий тренер команди «Апекс» і колишній гравець «Буковини» Олександр Білоус передав представнику Волонтерського руху Буковини Сергію Босовику «під прицілом» теле- (ТВА) та фотокамер (SportBuk.com). Зазначивши, що хлопці сподіваються на аналогічні жести з боку інших команд. У свою чергу, п. Сергій зізнався, що здивований цією ініціативою, і зауважив, що спортсмени колективно передають через нього допомогу учасникам АТО вперше.
