Відомо, що зірковий український боксер, дворазовий олімпійський чемпіон Василь Ломаченко започаткував для себе традицію раз на рік бігти марафон.

Мабуть, під впливом кумира більшості юних боксерів (і не лише) боксер клубу «Колізей» Вадим Гойтенюк (1999 р.н.) вирішив кинути виклик собі та пробіг марафон, навіть трішки більше – 42 км 290 м! (марафон – 42 м 195 м). Біг він з Чернівців через Кіцмань і далі через різні населені пункти, аж поки не добіг марафон.

Сам Вадим так прокоментував цей свій непростий вчинок: «Я просто завжди хотів це зробити!». У клубі зазначили, що «дуже пишаємось нашим спортсменом, і надіємось що це стане хорошим прикладом для наслідування!!!»

Тренер клубу «Колізей» Олександр Погодін зауважив, що Вадим «сам поставив перед собою таку ціль. І пробіг! Уви, далеко не кожен з клубу навіть половину пробіжить (. Вадим казав, що мозолів багато натер, боляче було. Взяв друга, який їхав на велосипеді поруч, щоби стежити за його станом. Я сам був шокований, коли він таки добіг, скільки сили волі у хлопця!»

Вадим Гойтенюк брав участь декілька разів в юнацькій першості України, до призових місць не добирався. Навчається на 3 курсі Чернівецького ліцею сфери послуг (спеціальність – оператор з обробки інформації та програмного забезпечення). На тренуваннях старанний. І навіть допомагає наставникам тренувати дитячу групу.
