Чернівецька легкоатлетка Ірина Микитюк здобула дві нагороди на відкритому чемпіонаті Азербайджану 2015 р.

 

Для неї це був перший офіційний старт після тривалої паузи у спортивній кар’єрі, пов’язаній із

народженням сина. Ірина вийшла заміж за грузинського баскетболіста Давіда Майсурадзе, який свого часу грав за чернівецьку «Стрібу», а тепер виступає у Суперлізі Грузії (його команда закінчила сезон на 5 місці). Їх синочку Іраклію наприкінці квітня виповнився рочок. І ось Ірина Микитюк (відома також під прізвищем Федик) повернулась у стрибковий сектор.

На чемпіонаті Азербайджану 2015, як повідомляє секретар Чернівецької обласної федерації легкої атлетики Олена Парнета (flab.cv.ua), чернівчанка виграла стрибки у довжину із скромним результатом 5 м 66 см, а в потрійному стрибку була другою – 12 м 66 см.

До народження сина Ірина показувала кращі результати, проте до боротьби за медалі на національних змаганнях в Україні не дотягувала (у 2009 р. виборола 2 місце у потрійному стрибку на Кубку України серед команд ШВСМ, але теж зі скромним результатом 12 м 85 см). Натомість прийнявши грузинське громадянство, буковинка увійшла до збірної Грузії і представлятиме цю країну на І Європейських іграх в Баку.
