«Я вже побував на дуже багатьох подібних заходах і, здавалося, вже бачив «все», але у Сторожинці мене все ж здивували», – зізнався зірковий бігун і керівник обласного відділення НОК України Іван Гешко після відвідин місцевої школи-інтернату.

Перший зі Східної Європи чемпіон світу з бігу на 1500 м і учасник трьох Олімпійських ігор побував у Сторожинецькій ЗОШ-інтернаті І-ІІІ ст. на уроці «Олімпійське майбутнє Буковини», який насправді був комплексним заходом – з пізнавальними і змагальними елементами. Серед почесних гостей був і відповідальний секретар олімпійського відділення, заступник голови Олімпійської академії України в Чернівецькій області Ярослав Галан.

Незвичний урок з метою популяризації олімпійського руху серед учнів молодших та середніх класів проводила старший  вчитель фізичної культури Репало Світлана Михайлівна.

Учасниками цього цікавого дійства були учні 6-7 класів. На уроці були використані інноваційні технології. Заняття почалось з церемонії відкриття, потім були і церемонії нагородження та церемонії закриття імпровізованих Олімпійських ігор.

«Головний олімпієць» Буковини Іван Гешко відзначив цікавий підбір естафет: «Вони, водночас, були і простими, і дуже цікавими та захоплюючими. Треба буде використовувати їх у майбутніх наших заходах».

Після завершення «Веселих стартів» «олімпійські гості» подарували командам пам’ятні призи та літературу на олімпійську тематику, а також подякували адміністрації та педагогу за чудову організацію і проведення «Олімпійського уроку».

Учні 4 класу вразили гостей, коли подарували їм свої значки у вигляді  п’ятикінечної  сніжинки, розфарбованої у кольори олімпійських кілець, яку виготовили власноруч. Це символ олімпійських команд Сторожинецької школи-інтернату.

Під час церемонії закриття свята гості, адміністрація школи, педагоги, вболівальники, учасники об’єднались у загальному танці (флешмоб).
