Хокейний клуб «Чернівецькі пінгвіни» продовжуватиме виступати у Регіональній хокейній лізі, в якій буковинці минулого сезону здобули «срібло».

 

У сезоні-2011/12 «Чернівецькі пінгвіни» також, нагадаємо, вибороли друге місце у Кубку України з хокею серед аматорів (переможці та призери аматорських регіональних ліг).

У четвер, 8.11.12, о 13:00 в приміщенні «Льодового майданчику» відбудеться передсезонна прес-конференція за участю керівників та гравців ХК «Чернівецькі пінгвіни», на яку запрошуються представник ЗМІ. А в суботу, 10.11.12, о 16:30 відбудеться перший домашній матч чернівецької команди в новому сезоні.

Граючий президент клубу Ігор Кірєєв зазначив, що наразі в РХЛ планують виступати 9 команд – «Гайдамаки» (Вінниця, чинні чемпіони), «Чернівецьких пінгвінів» (2 місце у минулому сезоні), «Проскуров» (Хмельницький, 3 місце у минулому сезоні), «Легіон» (Хмельницький), «Подоляни» (Тернопіль), «Ватра» (Івано-Франківськ), «Коломия» (Івано-Франківська обл.), «Нетішин» (Хмельницька область), «Арсенал» (Вінниця). Крім цього, можливо, у Чемпіонаті РХЛ братиме участь і команда з Кишинева (Молдова).

За словами Ігоря Анатолійовича, кістяк чернівецької команди зберігся (склад можна подивитися на клубній сторінці). Головним партнером також залишається туристичний оператор «КРУЇЗ-2000».
