П’ять нагород вибороли представники Буковини на ІІ Чемпіонаті світу з армліфтингу (за версією World Armlifting Association), який відбувся 21-22 вересня 2012 р. в Ялті.

До Криму вирушили 8 спортсменів з Буковини на чолі з президентом Чернівецької обласної федерації армспорту

Володимир Дорош виконав норматив МСМК

Маріусом Байкою, які гідно представили наш край на цьому престижних змаганнях. Загалом, із восьми буковинських спортсменів без здобутків не залишився ніхто.

Представники Чернівецької області вибороли чотири призових місця серед юніорів: Іван Маковій – 2 місце в категорії +90 кг, Назар Білінський – 2 місце в категорії до 90 кг, Ілля Боднарюк – 2 місце в категорії до 70 кг, Юрій Шкурган – 3 місце в категорії до 70 кг. У змаганнях серед дорослих «срібло» здобула Наталія Тарновська (2 місце до 60 кг). Також усі призери виконали або підтвердили спортивні звання, виконавши нормативи
майстрів спорту та майстрів спорту міжнародного класу. Норматив МСМК виконали Ігор Унгурян (у категорії 90-110 кг) та віце-президент Чернівецької обласної федерації армспорту Володимир Дорош (в категорії до 90 кг). А Сергій Борденюк підтвердив звання МСМК, яке він виконав раніше на Чемпіонаті України.

Довідка: армліфтинг – це підняття максимальної ваги однією рукою, тримаючи її за обертову ручку «Rolling Thunder» діаметром 60 міліметрів, яка сконструйована таким чином, що основне навантаження лягає на пальці
спортсмена.
