Нагороди всіх гатунків вибороли представники Чернівецької міської федерації рукопашного бою на Чемпіонаті Європи 2011 р., який відбувся у польському місці Берунь.

 

По дві медалі до свого активу записали Тарас Мандрик (студент факультету фізичного виховання та здоров’я людини ЧНУ), який у категорії 85 кг став чемпіоном у фул-контакті та срібним призером в лайт-контакті (командний вид програми), та Ростислав Мокрій (охоронне агентство «Сайгон»), який переміг у важкій категорії (понад 95 кг) в лайт-контакті і в цій же номінації в командному виді програми («стінка на стінку»). Ще один студент факультету фізичного виховання та здоров’я людини ЧНУ Іван Бойчук, як повідомив Олександр Крецький, виборов «бронзу» в фул-контакті у категорії 65 кг.

Ростислав Мокрій виступав і в абсолютній ваговій категорії, де також став найсильнішим, за що отримав пояс абсолютного чемпіона Європи з рукопашного бою.

Наставниками буковинських героїв Євро-2011 є тренери Чернівецької міської федерації рукопашного бою Руслан Адамович, Іван Штефюк та Андрій Гав’юк.

Нагадаємо, що вперше буковинці піднялися на п’єдестал пошани Чемпіонату Європи з рукопашного бою у 2010 році, коли брати Олег і Тарас Мандрики стали срібними призерами у категоріях до 80 і до 85 кг.

У п’ятницю, 14.10.11, у конференц-залі готелю «Буковина» відбудеться прес-конференція за участю героїв Євро-2012. Початок – об 11:00. Запрошуються представники ЗМІ.
