Етап Чемпіонату України з авторалі «Олександров ралі», який гостює 12-13 серпня 2011 р. у Чернівецькій та Івано-Франківській областях, отримав міжнародний статус і вже наступного року може бути включений до Чемпіонату Європи.

Про це на передзмагальній прес-конференції заявив президент Федерації автоспорту України Євген Червоненко: «Ми маємо чітке розуміння і підтримку з боку губернаторів цих областей. У перспективі ця гонка може охопити і Львівську та Хмельницьку області. Ми маємо унікальні гравійні дороги, аналогів яким в Європі просто немає. І я сподіваюся, що європейські с постерігачі оцінять наші переваги. Міжнародна федерація автоспорту (FIA – авт.) зацікавлена в тому, щоби провести у Західній Україні ралійні змагання найвищого рівня. А ми зацікавлені в тому, щоби стати третьою, після Іспанії та Франції, країною, яка прийме як етап IRC, який відбувається в Ялті, так і етап Чемпіонату світу WRC, який найближчим часом може гостювати в Карпатах».

Відкриття змагань відбудеться в п’ятницю, 12 серпня, о 9:30 у Косові Івано-Франківської області, а нагородження і закриття ралі – в суботу, 13 серпня, о 19:30 на Соборній площі. Церемонія нагородження увінчається концертом за участю популярної співачки Тіни Кароль.
