Другий рік поспіль Буковину у фіналі Всеукраїнських змагань серед школярів «Біола – Ігри Чемпіонів», який відбудеться у Міжнародному дитячому центрі «Артек», представлятиме Топорівська школа з Новоселицького.

Друге місце після школи с. Топорівці (Новоселицький район) в обласному фіналі, який відбувся сьогодні, 5.04.11, у чернівецькому ФОК «Олімпія», вибороли юнаки і дівчата із Сокирян, третє – школа с. Комарівці (Кельменецький район), четверте – Сторожинецька школа.

Переможці та призери (нагороджували два третіх місця) отримали призи, медалі, грамоти від облмолодьспортуправління, обласного відділення НОК України, обласного управління з фізичного виховання і спорту відповідного комітету МОНУ, а також смачні презенти від торговельної марки «Біола».

У церемонії нагородження взяли участь заступник начальника облмолодьспортуправління Богдан Вітовський, начальник обласного управління Комітету з фізичного виховання та спорту МОН України Корнелій Жукотинський, заступник голови обласного відділення НОК України Віталій Омельянчук, ініціатор і керівник проекту «Біола – Ігри чемпіонів» Володимир Наконечний та інші.

На відкритті змагань був присутній кращий спортсмен України 2006 р., учасник Олімпійських ігор 2000, 2004 та 2008 рр. Іван Гешко.
