Продовжує тішити високими результатами волинський кіцманчанин Олександр Борисюк – цього разу представник СК «Гешко» 6.02.11 виграв дистанцію 1500 м на міжнародних змаганнях у м. Спала (Польща), менше секунди не дотягнувши до нормативу майстра спорту міжнародного класу.

У Спалі вихованець Степана Борисюка і Георгія Миронюка готується до сезону. І, звісно, скористався нагодою взяти участь у міжнародних змаганнях у цьому місті. Олександр Борисюк виграв «півторачку» доволі впевнено з непоганим результатом 3.41,92 (норматив майстра спорту міжнародного класу в приміщенні – 3.41,00).

Нагадаємо, нещодавно Сашко переміг у Бресті (Білорусь) на дистанції 2000 м з високим результатом 5.10,67. До вищого досягнення України в приміщенні волинський буковинець не дотягнув (5.05,01 – Андрій Булковський), зате допоміг Сергію Чеберяку встановити зимовий рекорд Білорусі на цій дистанції – 5.11,69.

Перемогу на класичній дистанції 1500 м Олександр Борисюк прокоментував так: «Подібні змагання тут відбуваються регулярно – це так відкритий «халовий мітінг» (змагання в манежі) у місті Спала. Був «заяць», який провів 800 м на 1.59. До 1100 м я біг за поляком, а за 400 м до фінішу вже сам вийшов вперед. На позначці 1200 м засікли результат 3.00,59. І за рахунок останніх 300 м вдалося вийти на непоганий результат».
