У суботу, 9.10.2010 р. на чернівецькій горі Цецино в районі однойменного спортивно-оздоровчого комплексу відбувся фінальний етап Кубку України з велоспорту маунтенбайк (швидкісний спуск).

Вдало виступили на цих змаганнях і буковинські спортсмени (про це читайте в окремому матеріалі на нашому порталі). Почесним гостем Кубку України був депутат Чернівецької міської ради Валерій Чинуш, який, за словами президента обласної федерації велоспорту Іллі Руссу, сприяє розвитку гірського велоспорту, зокрема, допомогою в облаштуванні трас та гостинним прийомом наших кращих спортсменів на його базі «Цецино». Нагадаємо, що на гірськолижному спуску бази «Цецино» Валерій Чинуш має намір облаштувати велотрасу для «фо-кросу» (4Х), на якій можна буде проводити не лише національні, а й міжнародні змагання. Наразі очікується погодження ескізу траси з Федерації велоспорту України.
