З кращим своїм результатом в сезоні-2014 буковинка Наталія Лупу на міжнародних змаганнях «Русская зима» в Москві залишила позаду олімпійську чемпіонку Джелімо та призерку Олімпіади-2012 Поістогову.

Для Наталки Лупу (04.11.1987, Чернівці/Новоселиця, ШВСМ, СК «Гешко», тренери – Анатолій Якимчук, 140202-Russkaya-zima-800-Lupu-finish-3Володимир Степанов, офіційний партнер – готель «Буковина») це був другий старт в сезоні-2014 на коронній 800-метрівці. У Дюссельдорфі (Німеччина) декілька днів тому вихованка Анатолія Якимчука і Володимира Степанова фінішувала третьою з результатом 2.02,23.

«Русская зима» зібрала на цій дистанції суперниць на порядок титулованіших. Але й новоселицька чернівчанка в Москві виглядала вже «потужніше», ніж в Німеччині. Традиційно провівши частину дистанції в хвості, ближче до фінішу Наталка перебралась на «ударну позицію», а на останній прямій непоганим спуртом «атакувала» білоруску Марину Арзамасову, але, як засвідчив фото-фініш, до першого місця все-таки не дотягнула. Поступилась сусідка Софії Ротару лише 0,02 сек.

Після фінішу коментатори телеканалу «Росія 2» запросили нашу землячку долучитися до трансляції і в прямому ефірі поцікавилися враженнями чинної чемпіонки Європи в приміщенні від московського старту та змагань, загалом.
