Уперше Чернівці прийматимуть Чемпіонат України з легкої атлетики, а точніше – з бігу на 1 милю. Нагороди національних змагань та міжнародної «Буковинської милі» будуть розіграні 29 вересня 2013 р. на Соборній площі. Але елітним стартам передуватиме масовий забіг, в якому зможуть взяти участь всі охочі.

Про особливості ІХ відкритих змагань «Буковинська миля» та прем’єрного Чемпіонату України з бігу на 1 милю 17.09.13 у конференц-залі готелю «Буковина» розповів уславлений бігун Іван Гешко, який є директором змагань.
