Вихованець чернівецького наставника молодіжної збірної України з панкратіону Роман Подря провів за два дні у Бельгії 8 поєдинків і став переможцем міжнародних змагань.

У Міжнародному турнірі з панкратіону (розділ граплінг), який відбувся 24-27.05.2013 у місті Брюссель 130527-pankration-Brusel-sportbuk.com (3)-PodryaRoman(Бельгія), взяла участь молодіжна збірна України у складі 15 спортсменів на чолі з чернівчанином Ігорем Наконечним. Серед збірників був і вихованець чернівецької ДЮСШ «Авангард» ФСТ «Україна» Роман Подря, який тренується під керівництвом Ігоря Наконечного. А суддівський корпус України представляв також чернівчанин Петро Горюк.
Буковинець Роман Подря, як повідомив його наставник Ігор Юрійович, провів за 2 дні 8 поєдинків з суперниками зі Швеції, Франції, Бельгії, Росії, України, Італії. У віковій групі 12-14 років він став переможцем, а у старшій номінації (16-17 років) посів 5 місце.
Загалом, у звітному турнірі взяли участь спортсмени з 18 країн (Бразилія, Греція, Росія, Польща, Швеція, Італія, Франція та інші).
Зараз, спортсмени Чернівецької області готуються до Чемпіонату Світу з панкратіону, який відбудеться у серпні у м. Спліт (Хорватія).
