Переможне очко команді «Томіш Констанца» у вирішальному матчі фінальної серії Чемпіонату Румунії з волейболу проти «Універсітатя» (Крайова) приніс колишній гравець чернівецького «Будівельника» Ігор Меркушев.

 

У перших двох матчах команда «Томіш Констанца», за яку грає київський чернівчанин Ігор Меркушев, вдома виграла у гостей з Крайови 3:0 і 3:1. У третьому матчі серії до трьох перемог в Крайові Меркушев і Ко після трьох партій програвали 1:2. Але кінцівка зустрічі була за ними. І дуже приємно, що на тай-брейку вирішальне переможне очко гостям, як повідомив екс-начальник команди «Будівельник» Петро Раца, приніс саме український легіонер.

Для команди «Томіш Констанца» це четвертий чемпіонський титул.

А Ігор Меркушев, який після виступів за «Будівельник» одружився у Чернівцях і став чернівчанином, у сезоні-2003-04 виступав за «Локомотив» (Київ), у 2004-10 рр. – за «Будівельник-Динамо» (Чернівці), з яким став срібним призером у Суперлізі-2008/09, у сезоні-2010-11 з «Томіш Констанца» став віце-чемпіоном Румунії, виступав у CEV Cup та Challenge Cup, у сезоні-2011-12 грав за «Комунальник» (Гродно) і також став віце-чемпіоном Білорусі та володарок Кубку країни і, нарешті, у сезоні 2012-13 виграв з «Томіш Констанца» чемпіонат Румунії.
