Уродженка Заставнівського району Валерія Лосюк перемогла у конкурсі краси «Міс українська діаспора», який відбувся у Чикаго.

Валерія Лосюк народилась у Малому Кучурові Заставнівського району. Після закінчення філологічного факультету ЧНУ (2007 р.), як повідомляє mtrk.com.ua, виграла грін-карту і виїхала до США. Спочатку працювала там прибиральницею, потім продавцем, тепер працює в елітному салоні краси в Сан Дієго. Почувши про конкурс краси, в якому участь беруть українські дівчата, Валерія вирішила також спробувати свої сили. Учасниць було 18, усі з великих міст Америки, серед них – чимало професійних моделей.

До фіналу, як повідомляє missukrainiandiaspora.com, увійшли Міла Угрин, Ярина Скабик, Мирослава Колісник, Світлана Маркула, Юлія Костюк, Христина Скабик та Валерія Лосюк. Титул Міс Українська Діаспора 2012 здобула 26-річна Валерія Лосюк з Сан Дієго. Першою Віце-міс Українська Діаспора 2012 стала 28-річна Юлія Костюк з Детройта.

Другою Віце-міс Українська Діаспора 2012 було обрано 24-річну Мілу Угрин з Чикаго.

Міс глядацьких симпатій 2012 стала 22-річна Наталія Чайківська з Чикаго, яка отримала більше 2 тисяч голосів. Міс фото 2012 було обрано 21-річну Софію Ільчук з Чикаго.

Рішення ухвалило поважне журі у складі 16 осіб, серед яких були, зокрема, Міс Чикаго 2012, Міс Іллінойс 2012, Міс Іллінойс 1996 та інші.

Валерія є шанувальницею спорту. І підтримує гарну форму завдяки оздоровчим заняттям спортом.
