У вирішальному поєдинку міської спартакіади школярів з баскетболу серед старшокласників команда гімназії №5 здолала представників ЗОШ №22.

 

На першому етапі у 5-ти підгрупах змагались 18 команд. Переможці підгруп увійшли до фінальної частини, де за коловою системою було розіграно нагороди.

Доля першого місця вирішилась у двобої гімназія №5 – ЗОШ №22 (тренер – Андрій Прохницький). У цікавій боротьбі перемогу святкувала збірна гімназії №5 – 77:50.

Вітаємо з цим успіхом директора гімназії (Тетяна Григорівна Мінакова) та викладача фізвиховання (Маркова Наталя Олександрівна). Чималий внесок у переможний виступ гімназії зробив і тренер Юрій Барабанов, який тренує юних баскетболістів у цьому навчальному закладі.

Варто зазначити також, що від «сліпого жеребу» і, можливо, не дуже оптимальної системи розіграшу, постраждала команда ЗОШ №6, яка традиційно входить до числа претендентів на найвищі місця. Цього разу школа потрапила на першому етапі в одну підгрупу з майбутніми переможцями з гімназії №5…

Повертаючись до фінальної частини, додамо, що третє місце виборола команда ЗОШ №14, а далі розташувалися гімназія №7 (екс-ЗОШ №15) та ЗОШ №39.

За підсумками змагань були визначені кращі за амплуа: захисник – Євген Анісій (гімназія №5), нападник – Сергій Вовк (ЗОШ №22), центровий – Андрій Колібаба (ЗОШ №14).
