Наставник учасника Олімпійських ігор в Лондоні Миколи Лабовського (10000 м) – заслужений тренер України Денис Тищук розкритикував українські підходи до розвитку фізкультури і спорту та оздоровлення нації.

Зокрема, під час прес-конференції, організованої обласним центром ФЗН «Спорт для всіх» та СК «Гешко», Денис Ілліч з сумом констатував антиоздоровчу пропаганду під час Євро-2012:

«Я зайшов у магазин під час Євро-2012, Ñ– двоє жіночок, продавщиці, немолоді, спілкуються: «Ой ви знаєте, я не виспалась», – каже тій другій. «А чого?». «А футбол дивилася». «Та ти ж ніколи не дивилася футбол». «Так всі говорять про нього». Така агітація йде. Якби під час Євро агітували правильно за здоровий спосіб життя, отак «втовкували» Ñ– інші види спорту, щоби ходили, бігали, плавали…, то у нас була би супер агітація. А у нас була агітація: «Хто не п’є «Чернігівське», той не чемпіон, він не мужчина. А «Неміров у нас чемпіон, деякий час «Неміров тримався», потім заколосилася пшениця, вийшов «Хлібний дар» Ñ– переміг «Неміров»… Ми просто упустили момент».

Фахівець звернув увагу на подвійну проблему з уроком фізкультури – замість того, аби розібратися у суті проблем, які призвели до трагічних випадків на уроках, у нас взялися розвалювати їх, підсиливши негативні тенденції: «Якщо моє покоління, 29 з 30-ти у класі сміялися над одним, який не любить фізкультуру, то тепер 29 сміються над одним, який любить фізкультуру».

Щодо аргументів, що не варто перевантажувати учнів на уроках фізкультури, Денис Тищук зазначив: «А на географії дітей не перегрупують психологічно? Навантаження не великі? А на мові, на інших предметах?..»
