Прем’єр-міністр України Микола Азаров під час Олімпійських ігор активізував свою «спортивну діяльність». Зокрема, Микола Янович зустрівся з деякими олімпійцями, серед яких була і новоселицька чернівчанка Наталка Лупу.

Ця зустріч відбулась під час візиту Прем’єр-міністра до Республіканського вищого училища фізичної культури, де в цей час якраз тренувалися і «олімпійські випускниці» закладу – срібна призерка Чемпіонату світу в приміщенні 2012 р. на дистанції 800 м Наталія Лупу та Анжеліка Шевченко, які повернулися з закордонного збору і мають вирушити до Лондону (Наталка на Іграх-2012 бігтиме 800 м, а Анжеліка – 1500 м).

Як видно з фотозвіту, який виклали на сторінці Азарова у Facebook, Микола Янович симпатизує буковинській чемпіонці, з якою мило поспілкувався і попозував.

Оглянувши спортивну базу РВУФК, Азаров дав доручення покращити умови для підготовки спортсменів.

Азаров оглянув олімпійську школу Ñ– дав доручення створити усі комфортні умови для підготовки спортсменів. Ще Прем’єр заявив, що з 2013 року Уряд почне реалізовувати масштабну програми з розвитку спортивної інфраструктури в Україні за принципом «3 на 27»: «Проект передбачає, що в кожному з регіонів будуть побудовані або модернізовані три спортивні об’єкти: стадіон, басейн Ñ– універсальний спортивний комплекс. У найближчі кілька років ми збираємося відкрити такі сучасні спортивні центри по всій країні».

Нагадаємо, що недавно Уряд збільшив розмір премій за призові місця на Олімпіаді: за «золото» з 100 тис. до 125 тис. доларів, за «срібло» – з 75 тис. до 80 тис. доларів Ñ– за «бронзу» – з 50 тис. до 55 тис. доларів. Як зазначив міністр освіти, науки, молоді та спорту Дмитро Табачник, «таку ж суму відповідно (до отриманих спортсменами нагород) виплачуватимуть тренерам чи тренерському складу».
