Другий успіх національного ґатунку за короткий термін відсвяткувала збірна Чернівецького національного університету ім. Юрія Федьковича, яка 23.06.12 виграла у Харкові фінальну частину Всеукраїнських студентських ігор України.

 

У вирішальній частині цих змагань виступали чотири найсильніші студентські дружини України.

У півфіналі команда з Сум здолала 1:0 Зооветакадемію (Харків).

А ось Чернівецький національний університет, волею жеребу, зійшовся з командою Тернопіль-ТНПУ, яку по пенальті здолав на їхньому полі у нещодавньому фіналі студентського Чемпіонату України. Цього разу тернополяни, як і торік у матчі за 3 місце студентського Чемпіонату України, повели 2:0 і, здавалося, забезпечили собі путівку до «золотого матчу». Але підопічні Миколи Осадця знову зуміли відігратися і, як і у 2011 р., перемогли Тернопіль-ТНПУ по пенальті.

У фінальному поєдинку проти сумчан чернівчани теж опинилися у ролі наздоганяючих. Більше того, рахунок 0:1 тримався до 80-х хвилин! Але наші студенти виявили неабияку волю до перемоги і завдяки двом влучним ударам Олександра Лакусти під завісу зустрічі вирвали золоті нагороди! Вітаємо!
