Сьогодні, 23.03.11, в Харкові розпочався Чемпіонат України з боксу серед чоловіків — самий довгоочікуваний, найцікавіший та найважливіший з поміж національних боксерських чемпіонатів. Тому що саме він є «основним матеріалом» для комплектування збірної України з боксу, яка захищатиме честь держави на першостях світу та Європи, і, що найголовніше, на Олімпійських іграх-2012 року в Лондоні.

Нагадаємо, що в першій половині лютого збірна України з боксу вперше проводила навчально-тренувальний збір у Чернівецькій області, а саме — в готельно-розважальному комплексі «Сонячна долина», що розташоване в с. Бояни Новоселицького району.
Чернівецьку область на Чемпіонаті України представлятимуть п’ятеро буковинських боксерів:
до 60 кг — І. Лазар (СК «Боян — Колос» с. Бояни) тренер — В. Ротар
до 69 кг — Олександр Стрілецький (ДЮСШ №1 м. Чернівці) тренер — Геннадій Соловйов
до 75 кг — Олександр Погодін (БК «Колізей») тренер — Едуард Погодін
до 81 кг — Олександр Тесленко (ДЮСШ №1 м. Чернівці) тренер — Геннадій Соловйов
+91 кг — Стас Дєдов (ДЮСШ №1 м. Чернівці)  тренер — Геннадій Соловйов
Головним тренером обласної збірної Ñ” Генадій Соловйов — найбільш «плідний» тренер Буковини за кількістю переможців на міських, обласних та всеукраїнських турнірах, а також по кількості майстерних вихованців (протягом останніх п’яти років виховав цілу плеяду МС та КМС України!).
Тож побажаємо нашим землякам вдалих виступів, перемог та медалів у Харкові!
