Базу олімпійської підготовки на висоті 1580 м над рівнем моря реально побудувати в українських Карпатах!
Найвища в Україні «плоска» гора Томнат (або ще називають Томнатікул, на румунський лад) на Путильщині (Чернівецька область), яка має висоту 1580 м над рівнем моря, реально може стати центром високогірної підготовки збірних України з різних видів спорту. На місці колишньої військової частини, яка тепер перебуває у власності Путильської районної ради, фахівці бачать сучасну Базу олімпійської підготовки, наявність якої дозволить в перспективі економити чималі кошти на каталізуючих високі результати високогірних навчально-тренувальних зборах, а точніше вкладати ці кругленькі суми не в іноземні, а в свою вітчизняну базу. Восени 2007 Ñ€. на цій “олімпійській горі” побувала знімальна група телеканалу “Мегаспорт” (Олександр Мащенко, Анатолій Кравецький). До вашої уваги відповідний сюжет з програми “Спортфайли”.
Проект підтримали Федерація легкої атлетики України (цьому був присвячений візит на Буковину генерального секретаря ФЛАУ Ігоря Гоцула) та президент НОК України Сергій Бубка (є відео).
